2023 update: A year to Renew

Greetings everyone. Changes for the 2023 season. As spring advances and throughout the growing season the FARM & GIFT SHOP will be CLOSED to the public the entire year.

We will continue to provide product on our web page and the current plans are to do a few summer shows etc going into fall. This information will be posted on our web page and face book

Many aspects have come together for us to RENEW this year.

As many of you know we had a considerable loss of mature lavender last year.

  1. First and foremost our fields need a lot of attention this year and we also anticipate a substantial loss of lavender again. Although to many of you a mild winter it was not a beneficial year for lavender snowfall the best insulator was sorely missed this winter, excessive amount of rain in January, Feb. and March the constant freeze and thaw and high winds did not create a good outlook for some of the older lavender. Our plans are to recondition the fields.
  2. Time missed with family over the last few years during the very busy growing season. This is a top priority to us. Its time to spend more time with our wonderful family and growing grand kids.

Things may change over the season and at that point we will post on fb and our web page any updates. Google will continue to show temporarily closed. I do not make changes to google and advise anyone to follow our web page or fb for updates.

We know this is very disappointing to many of you that we must do this. Farming always has its ups and downs and on this scale and size of our fields it is labor intensive and will require additional work.

Many of you will have questions this post will try and answer a few of your questions.

  1. The FARM is not for sale
  2. We will not have plants for sale or take requests to dig plants transplanting lavender does not work well.
  3. We will still be making product and distilling this year – nothing will be at the farm for product and is available only on the web.
  4. No Photography
  5. No tours or special events scheduled at this time.
  6. Gates will be closed and fence up again for the growing season please respect our plans for the year we have much work to do and need this time to restore
  7. bundle season we will post on fb / web here bundles might be available.

We greatly appreciate all the community support, our customers and visitors and your love of lavender. Nature directs any aspect of farming historically and this is what we feel needs to be done this year. Take time for your family and friends it is greatest gift you could ever have. We will keep you updated as the season progresses. Thank you Laurie and Mike

Welcome to our farm!
